Learning Goal:
Students will learn to visualize while reading an article.
Students will make connections between a text and their own life.
Today we read the article "Over the Edge," from Nelson Literacy. You were asked the question, "What is more important: what you achieve or what you attempt?
While we read the article, you were asked to visualize and literally draw a picture. This picture could have been anything that you thought about or came to mind while reading through the article.
At the end of the article you were asked whether your opinion changed regarding the initial question -- What is more important: what you achieve or what you attempt.
