- Keep the discussion going
- Have your five main questions
- Have some “back-up” questions
- Ask individuals questions
- Create a summary that is accurate and detailed
- Your summary should highlight the “special” parts of the story
- Make sure your picture makes sense
- Have a detailed picture
- Have a detailed explanation
- Try to think outside the box
- Try to make connections that other people can relate to
- Think carefully about the passages you’re picking
